Later this year, Nissan will unveil an all-new Leaf EV six years after first introducing the electric vehicle. New halogen light bulbs in Nissan Leaf. Teaser Details are scarce. Nissan says it will trickle information and photos out all summer (yay), apparently taking a page out of Dodge’s Demon reveal playbook, before a global reveal later this year.
What we get from the first teaser is a headlight that looks awfully similar to those found on a BMW (5-Series pictured below). Considering the bulbous design of the current-gen Leaf, the sleek headlight provides some hope the styling will be more car-like than before.
Even six years into its lifecycle, the current Leaf is selling well so far in 2017. April sales were up just over 35 percent compared to the same month last year, with total sales up 17 percent so far this year, at 4,350 Leafs (Leaves?).
